In 2016, we introduced a bold commitment to our customers: the “Three Pillar Promise” – to maximise CUBE, WEIGHT, and/or TEU on every trip we make.
This wasn’t just a phrase. It was a mindset shift.
It challenged the traditional way of doing things – moving containers one at a time – and sparked a wave of innovation across ACFS Port Logistics.
Fast forward to today, and we’re incredibly proud of the tangible impact the “Three Pillar Promise” has had:

✔️ Smarter freight movement
✔️ Lower emissions
Because anyone can move a container, but moving it smarter and more efficiently is what sets us apart. Through this journey, we’ve pioneered game-changing innovations:
✔️ From standard 2 TEU trips to 4 TEU using Light Super B Doubles to support the transportation of empty dehires.
✔️ Introducing retractable mechanisms to these same trailers that allowed ACFS to deliver containers directly to clients docks.
✔️ Adding additional axles to these trailers that allowed increased payload capacity and help more customers.
✔️ Using lightweight split tri sideloaders to increase weight capacity of these trailers and reduced reliance of semi trailer chase trucks, which are inefficient and adds time to task.
✔️ Developing 26-pallet tautliners for increased capacity but also load and restrain faster to ensure a quick rotation of loads.
Each improvement naturally progressed the next level of thinking and Innovation. And it all started with a simple promise to do better.
This mindset has become part of our DNA. It’s reshaped how we collaborate across teams, work with customers, and rethink the entire port logistics supply chain.
