ACFS Post Logistics Strategic Development at the Port of Brisbane.

Just when you thought that the footprint of #ACFS at the Port of Brisbane (POB) already dominated the port precinct, ACFS has triggered another extension by making the investment for further development with LOGOS Group as the developer (see highlighted area in yellow).

Agreement has been reached to develop another 16,000sqm of container rated hardstand and 10,000sqm of warehouse that will include a super drive-through awning as an additional feature.

This development will take ACFS (POB) to a footprint in excess of 300,000sqm, which includes 88,300sqm of warehousing. ACFS (POB) provides integrated solutions for Wharf Cartage, Transport of FCL & LCL, 3PL Warehousing, Depot Services (AQIS and Customs) and 2 x large Empty Park facilities servicing the majority of shipping lines.

To keep up with our reputation as the #innovationleader in Wharf Logistics, the new warehouse will be developed to a newly approved standard pitch height of 14.5m which will have the potential to improve storage capacity by a circa 14% on previous modern warehouse designs.

ACFS thanks LOGOS Group for our tight working partnership and also the Port of Brisbane Pty Ltd for being productive in the approval process, which will result in the newly built area being ready by July 2022 in time for peak season next year.
