Tyne ACFS (Joint venture between Tyne Containers and ACFS Port Logistics) is thrilled to announce that we will be opening our third Empty Container Depot together in Auckland, New Zealand. The new facility will be located at 36 Richard Pearse Drive, Māngere.
The TYNE ACFS partnership was founded in 2009 with the first Depot opening in Port Botany, NSW, Australia followed shortly after by the second Depot opening in Fremantle, Western Australia. Since then, we have formed strong relationships with key shipping lines performing container stack and store, Maintenance & Repair, Reefer services, and Wharf Reposition Transport services.
TYNE ACFS in Auckland will commence operations on the 18th November 2024, where Transport Carriers will be able to enjoy the same level of service that is accustomed to in our Australian Depots. Tyne ACFS have already successfully secured key shipping lines and welcome the opportunity to take on additional lines. The depot can store up to 3,500 TEU, conduct 48TEU PTI’s (Pre-Trip Investigation), 60TEU on the survey pad, wash bay, and workshop at any one time. The Depot hours of operation are Monday to Friday 06:00am – 18:00pm with slots being accessible via OneStop VBS. Truck turnaround and efficient service to carriers will be a key focus of the business, to make Tyne ACFS the depot of choice in Auckland for carriers.
